Police went into the Smithy Fen Travellers’ site following reports of fighting.
A witness, who did not want to be named, said she saw about 10 police cars and a helicopter around the Cottenham site last night.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a disorder at Smithy Fen at just after 7pm yesterday.
“Officers went to the scene and discovered a man with a minor injuries and a damaged vehicle. No complaint has been made.”
