Travellers invade land set aside for new £35m Birmingham development

Travellers have invaded land earmarked for Birmingham’s new £35 million Digital Plaza development.

Ten caravans and motorhomes turned up on a derelict car park in Birmingham Science Park overnight yesterday.

They broke down a barrier and drove onto the site in Love Lane, next to Faraday Wharf, near the city centre.
