Travellers in Swansea would rather stay put in Llansamlet, councillors considering new site are told

TRAVELLERS in Swansea would prefer to stay in the Llansamlet area, councillors examining the process to identify a new home for them have been told.

Last October, a report went before councillors recommending two locations — one in Llansamlet and the other at the former dog track in Fforestfach.

But councillors decided they needed to look again at all options, including the use of private land in the city.
