Letter to Ed Balls – Gypsies are your constituents too! - Yorkshire

Readers may be aware that a planning application for a 55 pitch Gypsy and Traveller site near the railway station in Morley, Leeds, has been submitted. Our reading of the application leads us to believe that the application is unlikely to get planning permission because it is too large and contrary to National Planning Policy for Traveller Sites. A public meeting to discuss the application has been arranged. Ed Balls MP has written a statement to be read out at the meeting which you can read here.
