'Gypsy Boy' Mikey Walsh is proud to be a Gypsy but can never return to his old life

“I’m very proud of who I am – being a Gypsy is in your blood,” he says. “There is this amazing sense of community and respect for each other – a huge extended family. “And it is something I really miss. There were so many colourful characters.”
