A play area and sports field has been taken over by group of Travellers.
Caravans were pitched up at Shelf Hall Park on Halifax Road, Shelf, at Friday lunchtime.
It is the second time in six weeks that travellers have made camp on the field and residents are already up in arms of their arrival.
One resident said they are causing problems for dog walkers and for children wanting to play in the park while another has been told by the police that they are due to move on after the weekend.
This week, a group of Travellers were given an eviction notice on Wednesday from a play area on Bradford Road, Brighouse.
