Travellers skip official site – to camp in wood - Aberdeenshire

The Press and Journal

A GROUP of Travellers set up camp on the outskirts of Aberdeen last night – less than a mile from the city’s official designated site.

Two large boulders, intended to prevent unlawful occupation, had been rolled over at a patch of ground in Clinterty Wood, near the boundary with Aberdeenshire.

There were 10 caravans and assorted vehicles spread out across the area, just off the B979, which connects the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness Road with Kirkton of Skene.
