From the Museum of East Anglian Life

Come to the Museum of East Anglian Life this October for Words of the Wheel, an event exploring Romany history and life through the rich tapestry of contemporary Romany writing.

This is an exciting chance to hear award-winning poet David Morley read selections from his celebrated work alongside Romany dramatist and BBC Imison Award nominee Dan Allum. Writer and poet Damian Le Bas will read excerpts from his new poetry, and Thomas Acton, Professor Emeritus of Romani studies at the University of Greenwich, will give a personal perceptive on Romany literature.

There will be opportunities for conversation with the writers and books will be on sale.

11.30am- 3.30pm, Saturday 13th October

To register for this event, email wordsofthewheel2012@gmail.com

Entry includes full admission to the Museum and exhibitions.
