Travellers vow to fight any relocation moves - Cardiff
GYPSIES and Travellers say they will resist any attempts to have them moved from one of the biggest permanent camps of its kind in Cardiff. Rover Way caravan site, in Splott, is home to about 80 residents – many of whom are Cardiff born and bred – and is one of only two Gypsy Traveller sites run by Cardiff council. The council will this week launch an evaluation into the future of the site after a report by a committee of councillors found it was in poor condition and “unsustainable”.
