Liverpool’s Big Fat Gypsy Wedding dressmaker gets to work on her own series

LIVERPOOL’S Big Fat Gypsy Wedding designer Thelma Madine has started training girls to make dresses for a new TV show. Filming is underway in the city for the new Apprentice-style series, Thelma’s Gypsy Girl. The Channel 4 show, made by Firecracker Films, will follow dressmaker Thelma as she takes on 10 inexperienced Traveller girls as trainees.
