Communities’ views sought on potential Gypsy/Traveller halting sites - Aberdeenshire

From Aberdeen City Council

Aberdeen City Council is inviting feedback from communities where potential locations of halting sites for Gypsy/Travellers have been identified.

At a meeting of full council on 06 March, it was agreed to approve the potential sites at Blackdog, Howes Road, Scotstown Road Recycling Centre and the former Council depot at Springhill Road.

It was further agreed that officers should undertake a consultation process with the community councils in these areas.

In addition to that consultation process the views of residents and businesses are being sought and can be submitted by e-mailing clintertysite@aberdeencity.gov.uk

The deadline for submitting views via e-mail is Friday, 02 August with the outcome of discussions and feedback due to be reported to full council on 21 August.
